On June 20, 2008, the new Caleffi Research Center at Caleffi's global headquarters in Italy, the CuboRosso (RedCube), was presented to the Italian technical press. - Innovation means growth, both in terms of production and business practice. This is the perspective behind the conception of CuboRosso – or the RedCube , the scarlet heart where products and systems for renewable energy plants are developed and realized.
- Alternative energy sources are a vital matter both in terms of social responsibility and expanding market opportunity, and for this reason Caleffi has decided to dedicate its New Research Center to the development of components for solar thermal and solar photovoltaic plants, exploiting the energy produced for (among other things) providing electricity and hot water for its Italian headquarters.
- The Center’s activities include improving existing ‘traditional’ products and developing new solar components and systems.
