At the recent ASES National Solar Conference held in Buffalo, New York, Caleffi debuted several new solar thermal products including commercial pumping stations, differential controllers for drain-back applications, and DC pumps and controllers."Despite the slow economic conditions, there is a steady increase in solar thermal demand", says Rex Gillespie, Director of Marketing. "We see greater numbers of installers wanting to go beyond hot water applications and to understand how to tie in solar with other heat sources. From a transaction standpoint, this trend is evident in an increase of orders containing both solar thermal and traditional hydronic equipment for instance."
At the time of the trade show, the ASES was expecting its largest crowd in its 38 years of existence.
