Our 132 Series QuickSetter™ Balancing Valve accurately controls the flow rate of heating and cooling transfer fluid supplied to fan coils and terminal units or where flow balancing is required in solar thermal systems. Proper hydronic system balancing ensures the system operates according to design specifications, providing satisfactory thermal comfort with low energy consumption. The flow meter is housed in a by-pass circuit on the valve circuit and can be shut off during normal operation. The flow meter permits fast and easy circuit balancing without added differential pressure gages and charts. The balancing valve comes standard with a hot pre-formed insulation shell to optimize thermal performance for both hot and chilled water.
The 127 Series FlowCal™ is a control valve that maintains flow rate regardless of differential pressure changes. The design incorporates an exclusive flow cartridge made of an anti-scale, low noise polymer and a compact low-lead brass valve body for use in cooling, heating and domestic water systems. Common potable applications include use with an open fan coil system. In closed systems, they're ideal for controlling flow in any heat emitter including fan coils, base boards, panel radiators or single-zone radiant manifolds.
New in 2011, Caleffi's 120 Series FlowCal™ Y-Strainers include a combination Y-strainer with integral ball valve. The 121 Series FlowCal™ automatic flow balancing valve with polymer cartridge maintains a constant fixed flow rate within varying system differential pressure ranges. The 121 Series utilizes an exclusive, interchangeable flow cartridge made of anti-scale, low-noise polymer for use in cooling and heating systems. FlowCal™ Balancing Valves feature low lead brass requirements.
